NEWARK, Del.Supercritical Fluid Technologies Inc. introduced the SFT-100XW Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) System. The SFT-100XW System was designed to perform extractions in a supercritical fluid media. Dual sapphire syringe pump technology accurately pressurizes the SFT-100XWs stainless steel vessel which is capable of containing supercritical fluids at pressures up to 10,000 psi (69 MPa).  The SFT-100XW accommodates pressure vessels of up to 500 mL capacity and may be configured to run with multiple vessels. The large processing vessels enable the user to extract very low levels of key components from materials.  An integrated pre-heater ensures the consistent temperature of the fluid delivered to the extraction vessel.  An optional co-solvent pump extends the versatility of the SFT-100XW by enabling extraction of moderately polar compounds.
