MORRISTOWN, N.J.—P.L. Thomas (PLT) announced it is now supplying kosher certified policosanol. The ingredient is extracted from sugar cane wax and is a mixture of higher primary aliphatic alcohols, with the primary component of octacosanol. PLT’s (www.plthomas.com) ingredient is manufactured using molecular distillation.
