OTTAWASilani Sweet Cheese Ltd., a Schomberg, Ontario, firm, is recalling Silani brand Mozzarella Cheese Product because the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, reported the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The recall involves Silani brand Mozzarella Cheese Product sold in 340g packages bearing UPC 0 650525 7 and a best before date of March 1, 2011. The product was distributed in Ontario and Quebec.
