New long-term omega-3 heart research: Levels, not dose, are key – research
The level of EPA and DHA in subjects’ tissue, not the amount or type of omega-3 supplements taken, is critical in significantly reducing major adverse cardiac events after initial heart attacks according to a new study published in the International Journal of Cardiology.
