Kratom experts warn about 7-OH — again – research
In a letter to the editor published in the journal Addiction, five kratom experts raised an alarm about the increasing prevalence of semi-synthetic 7-OH (7-hydroxymitragynine) in the market. “From a clinical standpoint you essentially have to treat them as an opioid,” one expert said of the isolated 7-OH products.
