PURCHASE, N.Y.--Nutrition21 was assigned U.S. Patent No. 6,329,361 for the use of chromium picolinate inhigh doses to stabilize blood glucose levels and reduce hyperglycemia associatedwith type II diabetes. Nutrition 21 (www.nutrition21.com)currently holds 31 patents for nutritional products, 21 of them for chromiumcompounds and their uses.
