WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.—ConsumerLab.com released the results of its latest round of product testing, which focused on acai dietary supplements and beverage products. According to the organization, all of the products tested met the quality criteria, with no contaminants or undeclared ingredients. It did note one “cleansing” product lacked specific warnings regarding certain laxative ingredients in the formula.

ConsumerLab includes the names of companies involved in the review in its general news release, but doesn’t indicate which ones passed or failed testing, nor the levels of active ingredients in the products. However, the reports with complete findings are available for purchase from ConsumerLab. The report on acai products provides findings for the six products randomly selected for testing, as well as listing six additional products that passed testing under ConsumerLab.com’s Voluntary Certification Program, whereby companies can pay to have their products tested by ConsumerLab, and two products similar to those tested.
